Kinder’s First Art Project

I like to have a kinder's first art project be a happy balance of not too hard, not too easy, and still something "finished" looking marking their entry into elementary school art lessons.  1. After reading "Little Green" by Keith Baker, which is all about different kinds of lines, students used a pencil to make four lines across the paper, zig-zag, curly, wavy and their own favorite. 2. The lines were traced with a chisel tip video game designer salary black Sharpie marker. 3. The different areas created were colored in with crayons.
